      I heavily favor Berto.

Chavez Jr. doesn't have that same snap and speed.

He may survive on good mechanics for a few - but Berto would hurt him.

Once Berto learns how to control his output, and surprise with those bombs; he'll be Danger Man.

this is farrr to unrealistic of a match-up to think about.

Considering the C class opposition Chavez Jr. has faced thus far in his career, im pretty sure he wouldnt go close to a Berto poster, much less get in the ring with the real thing.

you want a REAL matchup of undefeated prospects...

            VANES MARTIROSYAN vs. ANDRE BERTO

they are 1 and 1 in the amateurs. Vanes actually kept Berto off the 2004 US Olympic team.

Hope we see that matchup one day.

yeah i know taht i built this thread just because of the fact that people see JR as a prospect and yet hes 26-0 or something and still he fights C class opponents at 6-8 rounders unlike BERTO who is a beast and could probably dominate the division IMO..

Berto would annihilate Chavez. KO by 5 at the very latest.

Absolutely. Berto is achieving the sort of things that Amir Khan might were he promoted right. Berto looks really good, a machine, and I think he could really go very far indeed.
