as much as i like cotto.........i still believe that he wears down fighters a lot more who try to go toe to toe with him.......i think smart fighters can take him the 12, its just silly fighters who try and mix it up with him,,,crazy mofos man, but credit to malignaggi man, he has a feather fist but still tried to mix it with him...

Nice thread. Tszyu's right hand was like a lazer. even after he suffered severe eye injuries when he was beaten by Vince Phillips, he rehabbed his eye to the point that it was even better than before. He got his hand-eye coordination to such a point that he was so accurate with that right hand it would be difficult for anyone to escape it. I think by the time he got to Hatton, Tszyu was quite used to having his way with top fighters because of this and his immense power. It wasn't that he just hit you hard, it was that he hit you right on the sweet spot harder than you'd ever felt. I would have to say that Tszyu hit a lot harder than Cotto at 140.

Cotto hurts u where ever he hits u, he is a thudding bone crunching type of puncher! Tzsyu Sparked u if he landed the right properlly. Different types of punchers, but if they fought id back Cotto

Tszyu has one punch KO power, Cotto doesn't.. he's just a devastating body puncher.

Tszyu hits harder to the head, Cotto hits harder to the body.

Kostya Tszyu was a deadlier puncher than Cotto ever will be.
Look at Tszyu back before he won the title..he was a force, even then.
Cotto is a very, very heavy-handed guy, whose left hook to the body is devastating. But, Tszyu was far more likely to get you out of there with one shot, or just a handful of blows.

I agree with what you've said

It's been told that Tszyu dropped an undisclosed boxer twice with a single punch

Obviously Kotya's straight is his serious money.

Cotto has that left hook to the **** tubes.

I'll take Kostya overall because he's stronger in my view.

I think Zoo is a better one punch KO guy, but, no way he's stronger than Cotto IMO. Let's see who does better against Urkal.

Cotto's punches usually have more so an accumulative effect. Especially those left hooks to the body. Those break people in half. Tszyu could put you out with 1 punch if he caught you not looking. Even catching you looking(see Zab Judah). I'd say for pure 1 punch power it would be Tszyu, though Cotto will put you out if you can't compete with him and punch equally back for the fight. It's like, if you can't hit as hard as Cotto or connect as much as him, you'll eventually cave in. When I watched the Quintana fight with Cotto, I think it was in the 2nd round that I knew it wouldn't be long before Quintana would break. He wasn't landing as flush as Cotto nor as much, and Cotto's punches eventually stop you in the long run.
