  • To Vitali Klitschko: I Know You Didn't

    Comment

    • vitaliy is the champion; everyone has to concede to this; lennox was on a verge of a major collapse, having been outboxed and beaten to the punch; he was very lucky to have escaped with a technical win.

lewis wasn't in good condition, even klitschko said so.

        lewis still won fairly, regardless.

But Vitali can rest assure that his legacy as a great is still intact. He defeated the great, young, dedicated, well-conditioned full-time fighter Corrie Sanders, the well-conditioned Kirk Johnson who always came up big in big fights, the rising Danny Williams who knocked out Tyson faster than anyone else, and the steel-chinned Herbie Hide.

he started late and bloomed late. most felt he looked his best in the tyson fight right before vitali and as far as dissing vits opposition,,,sure its not as good as lennox's but he didnt just beat he totally dominated the above mentioned guys and you can ridicule most heavyweights opponents....even lewis's....tyson and holyfield were shells of them former selves....morrsion had a glass jaw as did ruddock and bruno

I dont know what his stool or sitting posture after the bell has got to do with anything, but during the end of the round Lewis was punching and Vitali was doing nothing and looked finished!

          Here is the evidence-

Well its just like I remembered it... Lewis swings and misses with the left hook and then collapsed on his stool. Vitali walks slowly to his corner which was all the way accross the ring and doesn't stumble once. Yes he looked tired but not hurt. Lewis just met a fighter that was as strong as him and chose to take the win and retire rather then make $20 million plus in a rematch he and some of you were so sure he would have won. Don't say he did't need the money, because he was the one trying to rematch Tyson and tried to sue Mike to force a rematch right at this same time.

Steward also says that Lewis was in good shape in Africa and that "Eminem is like Tommy Hearns, he doesn't realize how hard he hits". He'll say a lot of things regarding guys he trains.

Lewis was not in good shape, even Klitschko said so after he lost.

The main difference between Lewis and Klitschko is that Lewis beat the top contenders around him at the time. Lewis was avoided by the big names and champs but when it was time to step up, he did so. and Lewis fought at a high level, beating contenders, for a long time.

Of doing well for the first few rounds against top HWs, then losing.

You must have made a typo. I think you meant to say most blind people felt Lewis looked his best in the Tyson fight, right? Or maybe most ignorant morons felt he looked his best?
morrsion had a glass jaw as did ruddock
Razor Ruddock had a glass jaw? Tell that to Tyson. Or maybe you meant to say "most blind people felt Ruddock had a glass jaw".

LOL @ Ruddock having a glass jaw.

He was badly hurt by Bonecrusher (a big puncher) from a shot that landed in the back of the head. The illegal sort of shot that landed in the area where Terry Norris got DQ'd against Luis Santana.

Tyson in 2 fights couldn't stop Ruddock without the help of a quick stoppage. Ruddock took a horrendous beating and got his jaw broken, but still lasted the distance.

If anything, the criticism of Lewis beating Ruddock came afterwards, when people said Ruddock was damaged goods because of the Tyson fight. No one said Ruddock had a weak chin before so.

Hell, if his chin after the Lewis fight was so bad, no way in hell he would've gotten up from that left hook that Morrison detonated on Ruddock.
