Was Ali vs. Inoki staged too?

Yes Inoki laid on his back the whole time and kicked at Ali's legs while Ali ran around doing his normal dance . I guess Inoki thought it was going to be more of a shoot fight and did do some real damage to Ali's legs but Ali didn't fall for it .

Gorilla Monsoon was a major star back in the 70's along with andre the giant. I heard andre the giant was their major poster boy before hulk hogan.

Ali and Inoki are still friends to this day, from what i heard.
