Sanders was the only fighter who really had Wlad beaten.

too hard to decide for me... do I want Wlad to redeam himself or fight in a unification bout after Austin.

If he beats Sanders now, 'they' will be saying he beat a retired golfer

So I guess Sanders is out of luck...

(That was me thinking out loud) LOL

If he did not take boxing seriously when he was in his early 30's what makes anyone think he will do it now in his early 40's? It is a shame because if he did take the sport seriously and possibly trained properly, this guy could have really made a name for himself.

If Wlad beats him in a rematch, it would still help him legacy wise.

If he couldn't beat Vitali a few years ago, then I really don't give him much of a shot now. He's constantly making comebacks and saying how serious he is about them. But then he shows up looking like a beached whale.

Sanders is a guy that will always pose Wlad with trouble, as someone said above just a bad matchup against VK-his chin is to solid.

As for Wlad...his chin is not solid and his recovery skilss are lesss then stellar. Sanders is very athletic, a southpaw (which no one in the division sees) and very heavy handed. His style and athletic ability almost assures him that during the course of a fight no matter how short he is going to be able to land a few big flush shots...a guy like VK was nailed with these shots and was able to overcome them his brother on the other hand was clearly not able to recover.

I see no reason why Corrie cant land a couple big lefts against Wlad, does anyone see Wlad surviving them ala his brother?

Corrie Sanders and Sam Peter are Wlad's 2 biggest threats-he may have to have a remtach with Peter in the near future but I dont think you will ever see him look in the direction of the South African and its not because he deems him a shot fighter!
