Every fighter knows that they may not make it out of the ring, they may get injured, their prospective opponent may get injured, they may miss the boat. If someone brings more to the table you fight them first if you possibly can, to minimise the risk of losing out on the opportunity.

I hope with all my heart he fights Williams, nice purse to take out a guy who doesn't have enough pop or defense to hang with him. Williams just isn't the right guy to beat him, no cotto, Cotto could be big problems for him in my opinion.

I think Cotto is a way tougher fight for Margo than Williams. He should get Williams out of the way and fight from champ to champ and earn bigger money and bigger credentials.
