I'll never forget that entrance with the Indian headdress....even in losing to Sal Sanchez, I still remain a Lopez fan.

I have never been to the IBHOF induction weekend in Canastota, but It's a trip on my to do list before I kick the bucket...lol...sorry to hear your thoughts on that Ted....

Absolutley go. It's a great trip. It's just a matter of principle with me but don't let it influence you. The thing about Danny's walk-ins were just great. A string bean of a red head who had hands of steel. He is a great guy and I had a great time with him at the Hall. By all means, go!

Speaking of the hall of fame, marvin johnson belongs. He beat victor emilio galindez, charles williams, leslie stewart and mate parlov. He also beat many other decent fighters, put him in. He is top 20 of all times at 175.

That era produced many good light heavyweights: galindez, rossman, qawi, eddie mustafa, saad muhammad, conteh, and the best fighter from that era Michael Spinks.

              That's arguable.

                Hi, Ted,

Sorry to see that your articles won't adorn the pages of ESB, but they will be available elsewhere, so can't grumble.

It might make my occasional articles shine that bit more!!

                Good luck!

Great read as always Ted. You have a diffenent gift for phraseology and puttin emotion into words.

On the topic of the piece, nice to see "Little Red" getting some respect. He was one of my favorite fighters in the pre-Leonard era.
