On March 3rd, in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Allan Green is scheduled to face Edison Miranda in an HBO-televised bout. The ink has barely dried on the contracts but the war of words is already beginning. The always talkative Allan Green had this to say on Miranda's promise to knock him out: "Miranda is too ****** to understand science, because he is probably the slowest guy I have ever fought. He has a better chance of tickling a grizzly bear in the a-- with a chicken feather than hitting me. He forgets that I am a puncher also. I will expose, embarrass and destroy him. He is too ****** to know any better but he will get an education on March 3rd." On fighting in Puerto Rico, Green stated, "I look forward to fighting in Puerto Rico. I have a lot of fans there. Someone needs to tell Miranda that he isn't Puerto Rican. He is very fragile mentally, so he is looking for love from Puerto Rico."
