Roach squashes Pacquiao rumors!

Trainer Freddie Roach wants to squash the rumors, and misreporting concerning his relationship with Manny Pacquiao. Recently, Hall of Fame promoter Bob Arum went on the record and called Roach an "idiot," and there were reports that Manny Pacquiao had fired Freddie Roach after learning that Roach and De La Hoya would be working together, "Bob Arum needs to spend less time trying to get me fired, and more time helping Manny, and getting Manny to the Wild Card. Bob needs to be working with me, and not against me. Manny Pacquiao is my boy and I am going to take care of him." Roach said he spoke with Manny last night, and reports that Pacquiao gave him his blessing, and wished him luck with Oscar. Freddie also suggested the possibility that Pacquiao could go to Puerto Rico to train with Oscar to prepare for his possible fight against In Jin Chi. Roach also informs ********* that they will be training at Wilfredo Gomez's gym in Puerto Rico. Full interview coming soon.

i think pac contract is partly owned by GBP i dont know but that is why the dispute is abit less heated.

But to comment on this topic, I don't think sparing with Pac would do DLH any good as their styles are very different..

I think DLH Vs. Mosley III is a better idea in terms of preparation.
at 154 the closest I can compare PBF to is Mosley (in terms of speed, class and availability for sparing)

I dont think Roach wants to take Paquiao to puerto rico to spar with De la hoya, That would be pretty funny because Oscar would Punish him for breacking his contract.
