Maskaev Vs. Vitali Klitschko / Peter - Cast your preference

Let Maskaev get on last huge payday against Vitali and he can retire and then Peter and Vitali can go to war in what will be a huge payday for Peter and probably the biggest he will ever have.

I don't want to see Vitali back in a title fight until he at least has a tune-up and we can see how his body holds up.

I also don't like the ugly style Vitali has, although Peter is not exactly the most graceful guy in there either.

Would you feel the same if it was Lennox Lewis as opposed to Vitali? Sure you wouldn't. You would curse the WBC up and down for not allowing Lewis to fight for the belt right away. I think Lewis would suck nowadays, just like he does behind the mic. He's over 40 and has been inactive for three years.

I wouldn't want to see Lewis come back. Maybe before, but that time is past.

But thats just my point.. they are ALL paper champs.. Unification would turn one of those paper champs into an iron champ..

King has done much good for boxing in his lifetime.. but life is always about .."what have you done for me lately?"
and Lately DK seems quite content to have 4 champs..

I fully agree with this. If you want uniifcation of the titles, King is not your man. He had all four titles in his control at one point not too long ago, and didn't set up the first unifying fight. He don't want a unified champion, regardless of what he says when the cameras are rolling.

If Vitali comes back and wins the WBC, at least there's a slight chance that he and his brother may end up with two titles each, and that'd not be complete unfication, but it would certainly be better than having four seperrate titles. And if Vitali was to have two belts, I am sure before he retired for good, he'd make a stipulation to where his brother got the chance to fight for his abandoned titles, thereby unifying all of them.

With King controling titles, we are never going to get anywhere.

Although my vote can be biased (and it probably is), I still want Vitali to fight Maskaev first. Two reasons:
1. If Peter wins the belt before Vitali, Vitali will not see the fight with him for at least a year, if ever. I would much rather see Peter fight Vitali for the belt that's in Vitali's posession, I think we would see the fight much sooner that way.
2. I just want to see Vitali in a meaningful fight, as opposed to some crappy tune-up.
