But I'm sad that Roach will now be tied up with DLH, what happens to the other guys that Roach is training? They're all gonna be in limbo. It's all ****ed up for them.

I'm more worried about Gorrez. Bautista and Penaloza.

I say good choice too...becuz Roach knows somewhat of mayweather's defensive style (similar to Toney)...so I'm sure he's able to see or point out what he can do...

I like the choice of Freddy Roach. The only better choice would have been Emmanuel Steward, but the problem with that is both Klitschko and Taylor have big fights scheduled and coming up soon.

The reason why Steward would have been a great choice is because fighters often come to him a bit later in their career after they have already developed, looking to improve a bit or prepare for a big fight. Steward is experienced with those situations, and would have a good grasp on things like how much he could change with De La Hoya and stuff like that. Plus Steward has worked with De La Hoya before and they had a lot of success. I guess the problem is that he is so good that everyone goes to him so he is already really busy.

Roach has done great work with all of his guys and it seems like they all improve when he begins training them. Plus Paquiao and Toney are both kind of in limbo now and don't have anything coming up in the immediate future, so Roach has the time to prepare De La Hoya.

Arum must be very happy with this development. Now he can have manny to play with all by himself.

LOL where have you been? He was asking for 2mil so oscar said no.

I just hope this ends sr. talking out of his ass and ****, I want him to just stfu already. I have a feeling he will just ***** about this decision for a little while, and then pop up again bitching befor the fight...and then if DLH looses all he will say is he could have gave him the W.
