    1930's

I have done alot of research and have come up with a conclusion that the 1930's was an extremely weak era for boxing.

Before Joe Louis, ur heavyweight champs were braddock, carnera, sharkey, baer and schmeling.

None of the 175 champs from that era are among the all time greats, except rosenbloom.

The middleweight era in that time frame was very weak. You had a bunch of one hit wonder champs that made 1 or 2 title defences.

The lightweight and welterweight division was ruled by a featherweight folks.

i'm talkin overall pal. There is no way its better than today's era. The middleweights, light heavyweights, heavyweights(yes the heavyweights) are all superior today.

The flyweights in any era has always been great. It's just that nobody cares much about it.
