Can anyone enlighten me on Paul Briggs?

I watch tons of boxing on TV, and yet I don't know a damn thing about Paul Briggs (Antonio Tarver's madatory challenger.) Does anyone know anything about him, is he just a loser Tarver can beat blindfolded?
If the light-heavyweight divison sad enough to have Paul Briggs the #1 challenger, mabey those dorks from "the Next Great Champ" really do have a chance at getting a tittle fight.

He KO'd Glenn Kelly in 4 and it seems like his biggest asset is his power, 80% KO % and not his ability to outbox opponents. In his last fight against Stipe Drews, Drews was KD 3 times as well as having 3 points deducted for kneeing and headbutting Briggs yet Briggs only won by 115-109, 117-105, 113-106.

I wouldn't think so, Tarver hits harder than Briggs and Tarver has a better chin than Briggs.
