On the March 3rd undercard of the subpar Miguel Cotto-Oktay Urkal fight, Ring’s #3 middleweight contender Edison Miranda (27-1, 24 KOs) of Colombia will square off with #8 super middleweight Allan Green (23-0, 16 KOs) of Tulsa, OK. Even better, Boxing After Dark’s much maligned lineup got an adrenaline shot with the announcement that World super middleweight champion Joe Calzaghe’s #1 and #5 contenders, Denmark’s Mikkel Kessler (38-0, 29 KOs, also the WBC/WBA beltholder) and Mexico’s Librado Andrade (24-0, 18 KOs), will headline on March 24th.
