The question should be.....who does he fight? Pavlik?

That's really the only solid guy who is available at the moment.

He's at the tail end of his career. I could see him retiring in the next two or three years. The problem is, pretty much, to get to Winky, you have to be near the top and thats where the money fights are. But Winky's style is a killer and his medium popularity means lower money, so its a lose-lose situation for most guys at that level. They'd rather hold out for someone else.

It is pretty funny actually. All the guys near that level name drop Calzaghe and Taylor- never Winky. If they beat Winky, they'd be hugely respected, but they want no part of him, they'd rather hold out for some big name that is less difficult to develop a gameplan for.
how about maybe an agreement fighting pavlik

Well Taylor wanted him for a rematch BUT it didn't push through. If Winky really wants full recognition he should push for a Taylor rematch this year. There's no other big names for him out there but Taylor. And I'm sure Taylor won't and cannot refuse that.

I've seen the last few Pavlik fights and I dont recall him name-dropping Winky, just Miranda and Taylor. Again, like I said, it seems no one wants a peice of Winky.

His next fight will probably be a tune-up, like the Soliman fight. And WInky will probably look lackluster because it is a "biding my time until something better comes along" fight.

            Strange situation dude.

I had a lot of arguements before regarding Winky and people starts branding me as a WINKY HATER.

Winky simply cannot dictate terms to Taylor because he is still the challenger irregardless what he thought of the first fight. If he really wants recognition then prove it and get Taylor at all cost even under Taylor's conditions. Winky's got to take the risk or otherwise no matter what people perceive he is still a figure behind Taylor. If he wins, then he takes the stature and the glory and therefore can dictate his own terms.

Miranda's team approached Wright for a fight, but there was no interest from them. I think he is sitting still waiting for a big name.

I just saw something on b0xingtalk that said Winky is looking for Hopkins at middleweight.

I don't think Bhops will go back down to middle weight otherwise he might as well fight Taylor again.
