Former WBA World Champion Martin Castillo (30-2, 16 KOs) was in attendance to see Jorge "Travieso" Arce (46-3-1, 35 KOs) soundly defeat Julio Roque Ler this past Saturday in Anaheim, CA. With Arce being victorious, to many knowledgeable boxing experts the biggest fight at 115 pounds is between the two. Castillo spoke with ********* about his last fight, His thoughts on Arce's performance, and how a fight between he and Arce can realistically happen.
Let's talk a little about your last fight.
The fight was a very close fight at the time of the stoppage due to the cut on my eye. These things happen in boxing sometimes. I have no regrets about going over to Japan to defend my title. That's why they call it a world title because a real champion will fight anywhere.
