There's no better justification than that.

C'mon, man. That's not even fair. Hatton's a good body puncher, but he's not a destructive one.

With all due respect to the American posters, if you have only seen the last 4 Hatton fights, you havent seen any of his body punching ability at all.

Yeh but the opponents before his last 4 fights have hardly been top challengers,or even quality challengers

I have about 4 vids on Hatton in his body punching prime. Its true, he hasnt shown the same body punching as he did before, but even then Cotto is better.

COtto Definetly. As Hatton has stepped up his competition, he has abonded his body attack it seems.

He still throws it, and its vicious when it lands, but he has improved his arsenal to include everything.

Cotto concentrates mainly on a brutal body attack, and it seems like he only throws to the head to open up the body

Thats not what I'm saying. Hatton has adapted a different game plan of late. In the past 4 fights he hasnt been rocking in the body shots like he used to, so if that is all you have seen of him, then you dont have the right tools to judge. He may come back to the body shots, may not. I hope so cos they certainly stand him in good stead.

Cotto hasnt exactly been fighting the creme de la creme in his fights either. Better than Hatton's before Tzu perhaps, but not by a huge distance.
