    Naturally blessed?

Do you believe some people are just naturally adept to being a good boxer? For instance you get kids that have been boxing since they were 7 a great amateur record but when they turn pro it all goes wrong? Then you got the Rocky Marciano's, Nigel Benn's and Bernard Hopkins who start boxing in later life but manage to hang in there with the best of them.

Do you think some people just werent meant to be boxersss

Sure. It's been proven that genetics play a role.

You can be naturally blessed, but I'd say that usually hurts you more than it helps you. Once you stop getting your ass to the gym every day is when you start to lose to people you should beat. You could say Mayweather has all the right genes, but he also works twice as much and as hard as anybody else in the sport. Same could be said for Hopkins. You have to be a gym rat.

Yeah, the thing is if you're talented, you have to continue to push yourself by getting in there and fighting all the time. Mayweather sparring 10-15 rounds is insane but necessary to keep him from missing a beat.

I always thought that fighting was natural for Roy when he was on top. He was just really gifted and fun to watch.
