    Forget the loss to Hopkins.

How about avenging that totally embarrassing outclassing by Wright. Tito didn't win a fraction of 1 round and ate jab after jab.

That's a different story... What happened with the BHop rematch?

ANYBODY! If you want to get the champs attention by way of the public you start at #10 and work your way up. Nothing kept him from doing that.

Why are you so sure....when he couldn't possibly have been more thoroughly dominated if he were tied to a bed and a dominatrix was thrashing him with a cat of 9 tails?

I never once read, or saw Trinidad express feeling of wanting a rematch. He never mentioned it that I know of, and I'm sure he wasn't serious.

in the only time I've read his statements regarding him leaving retirement....he said he'd do it to rematch Oscar De La Hoya.

In fact, Oscar is the only name he brings up and I'm sure that's because he had hopes of hunting for a huge payday before he retires.

As for Hopkins....why? Why would he want a fight that is so high risk and low reward? It was a risk enough Tito moved up and challenged the bigger man who made a living off beating smaller guys.

Tito won't beat Wright or Nard and won't get paid trying either.

a poster with pr in his nick suggesting tito was out of shape, focus, or whatever in the fight with nard, and could have done better in a rematch, which evil hopkins denied him.

Why? 'cause on the contrary of most fighters today, Tito wanted to be great. He wanted to move all the way up to 168 and challenge RJJ for his title and prove who was the real p4p king at the time. And that is something that we lack on boxing today. Fighters worry about high reward and low risk fights to make their $$$ legacy. Tito had a lotta balls to do the things he accomplished in the ring.
On Bernard's side, he should've taken the rematch to make twice as much as he made in the first Trinidad fight, which was the most he'd made.

You're not only mute but dumb. Not saying Trinidad would beat him on a rematch did I? Just wondering why it never happened.
