I hate the IBF,the WBC,the World Body Odor,the WBA,the IBO...the MIC,the KEY,the MOUSE....did I leave any out?...if I did,I'm sure I hate them too.

These crooked and corrupt organizations have ruined boxing...no news there,but why do they exsist?..other than to extort and ruin what was once the most noble of sports.

I say this,as I read on another thread that Ricky "the HugMan' Hatton may be ordered into a mandatory instead of fighting Castillo.
Besides that,how can Hatton or Mayweather call themselves a true champion without fighting each other?
Or for that matter how can a circus sideshow call himself a champion without fighting a legit champion?
We all know what happened with Value...they,the powers that be,gave him the fight over John Ruiz,so that they can create a cash cow in Europe,while he fights a collection of has beens,never were's and other barely breathing bodies.

What a joke boxing is these days...unfortunatly it's on us.Actually on most of us,because there is not a fight out there I will pay money to see.Maybe Hatton/Mayweather...but we all know that they will find excuse after excuse to not fight each other.The problem is they are making money...each in their own league,so to speak.

And we are the losers....

Do we really care about Shannon Briggs?...this is a champion?..or the Klits?
One whose claim to fame is LOSING to Lennox Lewis...the other who most of his fights,fights like a Klitoris...or Maskev,who should be somewhere sweeping up a gym instead of walking around calling himself a champ.

I hate Don King,Bob Arum...I don't know the European promotors,but I'm betting I hate them also.

I watched UFC fight the other night,and it was a great fight.I would buy a PPV UFC fight before any WBOgus phony title fight out there.

I hate Oscar Dela Hoya,PBF,HugMan,the Klits,Toney,Peter,Hopkins,Taylor,Calzaghe,Witter.. .even if I never saw him...Castillo,PacMan,Winky,Ruiz,HBO,Jim Lampley,Larry Merchant,Foreman,Ali..for getting me started in boxing...Frazier,Trinidad,Lacy,Roy Jones....excuse me please,I must go take my medication...but I'll be back,there is much more to hate about this sport.

What about all of the other quality fighters making good decisions? Miguel Cotto? Manny Pacquiao? Jorge Arce? What about the upcoming quality fights like DLH v.s. PBF, M.A.B. v.s. J.M.M., Vasquez v.s. Marquez as well as a host of others.

I think you need to quit fixating on the bad and get ready for what might be the best year of boxing of all time.

Okay gringo you make a good point. A ton of em in fact. This is going to be a very good year for boxing. I'm just so fed up with the corruption and political bull****. The sport needs a cleanup but at least the fighters are doing their part in 2007.

I am almost at that point now.Maybe it will be a good year coming up.
But I am at a point where,the thought of Dela Hoya/Mayweather does not really excite me.

As someone wrote on another thread,the fight will probably end in a draw...or some other controversial fashion where they will have to do it again.
I don't even think it's going to be that good of a fight.
