You are completely ignoring the swelling on the rest of his face. So its hard to cut Byrd, that doesn't mean that he be a human punching bag for 12 rounds and not expect to get a swollen face and eyes.

he seriously got beat up, i doubt there was anything on wlads gloves, Byrd's face got swollen like that because of what was IN his gloves, his fists. Like I said, i saw a guy get hit in the face playing basketball and he ended up with a swelling very, very similar to the one we are discussing, there was no substance or powder on the other guys elbow.
