lets say realistically each of them has two more fights left... afer the ones coming up ... so lets say they both win their fights ... who does mayweather have to beat before retiring and saying" I'm the best" without question ...same with mosley ...

I would say mosley has to beat ...

    Mayweather...

    and

    Cotto

I would say mayweather needs to beat

    delahoya

    mosley

    and

    cotto

I agree with your list for mosely but i think you should swap cotto with hatton for floyd, the fight will probably never happen though.

for Mosley to beat Mayweather and Cotto would be unbelievable!!

Id say if Floyd beat De La Hoya then Cotto in good Fahion then retired undefeated not many people could argue hes one of the best ever. After Cotto he could probably beat Hatton aswell just to be ****y

At 147 i think Cotto would be a far harder fight for Pbf than Hatton would

mosley one of the best ever? I am sorry but those unavenged (and probably unavangeable) losses against forrest and wright do not help the case

mayweather needs to fight... i dont know

i want to see how cotto, hatton and mosley all do in their upcoming fights

cotto got hurt way too much in his last few fights at 140

hatton isnt looking that great lately (I used to think hatton would have been the most difficult fight for mayw)

mosley-collazo will tell me how live of a body shane is now

his lost against forest ??? ... i cant front he lost ... both fights ... i always say the head butt played a major factor in that **** ... i almost cried that night ...lol ... anyway... he beat vargas ...and vargas beat wright, so in a way ... it doesnt seem so bad... not only that ... shane moved to 154 to fight wright... wright is way bigger than mosley ... and shane has always had problems with people taller than him etc. sooooooooooooooooo i think even now he would go down as a champ even more acknowledged than wright...
and you could arguably say that he won the 2nd fight against winky wright ...at least thats how i feel...

                  Mayweather: Cotto, Mosely, and Hatton.

For good measure, he might need to whip Williams.

I don't think that going undefeated throughout your career gives you the right to say "I'm the best, nobody could beat me" cos realistically these fighters that retire undefeated rarely ever fight the best and clear out the whole division. And fighters that get beat and come back to regain their title show good character.
