Boxers do have their favorite month to scheduled their fight, classic example is Evander Holyfield, as in guns "n roses hit "November rain" his pro debut, the first time he defend his title in his hometown vs bert cooper, his 3 bouts with Bowe, the career defining win over Tyson, and 2nd fights with Moorer and Lewis, not to mentioned his last loss, all came in the month of november.
then there's George Foreman, who three big victories came in the month of January, a title winning fight vs Frazier, and wins over Lyle and Cooney.
and of course Dela Hoya, who loves fighting in May and September, there must be something special about those months on why DLH is obsessed in scheduling his bout, well 3 of his 4 losses came in September.
