How Good can the Mosely's train Oscar?

Wondering if anyone has any opinions on how well the Mosely's (shane and pops) can train oscar for this fight?

At first I thought Roach would train him, but then it became clear that Shane would make a great sparring partner for DLH.

He could totaly immitate PBF. I am sure they could show OScar how to gain some more hand speed.

I mean, if shane has Oscar's number, then Oscar will be able to improve on his weakpoints cause obvsiouly shane knows how to exploit them.

I think it is a great idea. I hope PBF gets SMASHED to bits.

On pure athletic ability I give it to PBF cuz he s young, but ODH has superior boxing technique, experieince, and I think he's been tested more than floyd, so he will know when it is time to dig down deep.

Remember, Mayorga said Osacr hits harder than Tito? I am sure PBF cannot and will not be able to take a shot to the head or body.

He needs to find a trainer that would have a genious fightplan. Someone like a Steward maybe.

I think you're right about training with Mosley. It will get Oscar use the speed that Mayweather has. As for his pops he seemed really uncertain of what to do with Shane was he was losing to Winky. He said some funny **** like "Continue to do an outstanding job next round." Not exact but it was something like that. Made me laugh for some reason.

I agree. Mosley only fights one way. When Winky was beating him up in the first fight, his dad had no clue what to tell him, and Mosley seemed confused.

sparrin with shane would prep good speed wise
but it might give oscar false hopes
cuz its pretty easy to lure shane in traden punches
meanin he might go in with that mentality
then when floyd just dances away
it could frustrate him more then normal
but guess its still the best option out there

yeah mosley pops and mosley never make adjustments
if floyd is in trouble he will make adjustments

mosley pops can really prepare oscar to fight floyd
he couldnt even get his son ready to fight floyd at 135 where shane was
              a knockout artist undefeated champion

              they jsut ran to 147

Shane and Floyd are 2 different fighters. Oscar should try and smother Floyd(if he's fast enough) and try to land more punches than Floyd. The thing is Floyd has superb defense, and Oscar would only land 1 out of 3 in a combination or maybe 2 out of 3. I would tell him smother Floyd and then don't stand in front of Floyd and well...sort of flee. Floyd will land if Oscar stands right in front of him. Shane is fast on his feet and has good handspeed, but Floyd doesn't trade like he does, and Mosley doesn't really use much defense. He's kind of one dimensional.

Oscar will have to try and outwork Floyd, and maybe attempt to steal rounds late. I still think Floyd wins by decision.
