Fatton is advised to stop!

    Hatton advised to cut down!

Unbeaten IBF junior welterweight champion Ricky Hatton has been advised by friend and former world champion Wayne McCullough to alter his lifestyle. "The Hitman" admittedly balloned to 180lbs before his bout with Juan Urango and he is known to enjoy drinking beer with his friends. "Nobody's saying he can't drink," McCullough told the BBC. "But it's up to him to say 'I'm getting older, maybe it's time to cut down'.....to put 10lbs or so on [between fights] is pretty normal, but when you go any higher it makes it harder. But that's Ricky Hatton. He goes to the bar and drinks with the boys. So far he's been getting away with it and it's his choice." As for Hatton's next opponent, Jose Luis Castillo, McCullough was even less flattering. "I think [Castillo's] probably shot. He's had a lot of tough fights, he's not a big guy and I think Ricky beats him easy." (Photo: Mary Ann Owen)

McCullough is right on the money with this comment. This is what I've been saying for weeks. Hatton deserves no credit for beating this version of Castillo that struggled with a prospect like Ngoudjo. This is just another in a 42-fight-long series of handpicked fights...

drinking beer is british speciality to get drunk every weekend.

if he loss he drink because he need it and if he wins he drinks because he deserve it.

        blah blah blah

Castillo's not shot. He always looks poor in smaller fights then brings it in bigger fights.

Kostya Tszyu wasnt shot, Luis Collazo wasnt shot, Eamon Magee wasnt shot, Ben Tackie wasnt shot, Juan Urango wasnt shot and they were all tough fights. Do something else apart from slate Hatton!!!!!

Hatton expressed at the end of the Urango bout that he was going change things up with his diet between bout from now on...

if he does stay in shape between now and the castillo fight then his legs wont go in the last couple of rounds like they did against urango and this spells trouble for castillo.

Tszyu for one was coming from an operation, shoulder disloaction, yes he hand a great win over Sharmba Mitchelle but once he fough Hatton in Hatton clinchs really effected him because they guy is abit old and was coming form an operation and saying he wasnt shot that you must be lieing to youself.

Hatton's lifestyle between fights is already affecting him.

If he doesn't change he could be in for a shock Vs Castillo.
