    Klitschko: No mercy for Austin!
"I won't underestimate Austin, but there will be no mercy in the ring," vowed IBF heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko at Tuesday's press conference kicking off his March 10 clash against mandatory challenger Ray Austin in Mannheim, Germany. Promoter Don King, representing Austin, was at his cantankerous best, predicting that Austin would end Klitschko's career, giving Wlad "plenty of time to play golf." King added that a smart man with a doctorate like Klitschko could then become a teacher or a doctor. Klitschko said he didn't wish to comment on King's statements. Austin told Klitschko that the 13,500-seat SAP Arena "looks like a good place to get kayoed."

Austin's only chance to become heavyweight champion is to use some sort of verbal warfare that would lead Wlad to doubt himself.

That won't happen, because when the bell rings.....Austin is ****ed. He's way too sloth like, stationary, and unskilled to be saying the things he is.

In fact....I don't think he hits hard enough to give Wlad trouble. I'm sure you'll see him looking like a fat Larry Holmes that does no damage, and Wlad will just lean his head back to avoid shots while landing the jab.

Austin stands as much a chance as JuyJuy does.

        Um, he is a doctor?

Hopefully this pisses him off enough to see his killer instict come out, like his brother's.

his only chance would be to do what purrity and brewster did. weather the storm and keep getting up if he goes down and hope wlad throws everything he has and spends himself. its highly unlikely though that austin could take the punishment that purrity and brewster withstood. never totally underestimate determination and hunger. I'd still be shocked if austin somehow pullled it off. he doesnt seem to have the chin or defense to make wlad overwork

Austin is an able bodied, poor man's version of a weaker punching Larry Holmes. I think it's a stylistic nightmare for Austin in the ring.

I agree. he just appears so easy to hit and he's right in front of you. only thing in his favor is he does have heart,,,so if he gets dropped multiple times and keeps getting up,,wlad could wear himself out,,but I doubt he lasts long enough. sultan seemed to wobble him every time he hit him clean

WTF has Austin done to deserve this title shot?? This is just another giant waste of time when Klitschko could be preparing for a unification bout against one of the other champs.

he has no chance just like I said Brock had no channce and just like Byrd had no chance. Austin is going to the beating of his life and retire..
