Its not that he's the biggest THREAT. Its that he's the biggest FIGHT. Same reason as Witter talking about Hatton (though less of a match, realistically).

If Hatton can stay in good shape and stick to those tactics, that would be the best possibility of beating Floyd. He gives PBF all the due respect, is realistic about his aims and tactics (which nobody can deny really). The test is just putting it into practice, which isnt going to be easy.

Cant blame him for trying to get the fight and I'm certain it will happen. And that it wont be as straightforward as so many people on here seem to think.

For all of his faults, Urango was a stronger fighter than Floyd, trying to push him around all fight is tiring. His punches are not as good as Floyd's, but they are likely to be heavier and when he connects with one (as he did in the fifth to the body) it no doubt takes more out of you.

hatton in no shape or form is fitter or better conditioned than floyf imo. floyd always looks fantastic in his fights. physical appearance don't really mean anything in fights but floyd trains like a mad man. i mean sometimes he trains more than once a day, while other fighters sleep. ricky is a great fighter but he really doesn't stand a chance aganist floyd in no shape or form. floyd demolishes ricky, and add to that if ricky pressures floyd all night like he claims, floyd destroys ricky in faster fashion, believe that for a fact.

I dont think Hatton is in nearly as good shape as Floyd.
I think Hatton v Floyd has the potential to be interesting, but Ill take Floyd any day of the week.

          And twice on Sunday.

Hatton won some kind of fittest sportsman award for a magazine once, his stamina was truly insane (a lot due to a hole in his heart), but I think all the binge eating and binge drinking between fights has caught up with him because he looked weak as hell in his last fight and has ran out of stamina in his last couple of fights (something that would of been unimaginable a few years back).

It's clear that he's shot to pieces. And yes Mayweather will beat him now.

I gotta side with Hatton on the conditioning note. Before the Collazo fight I can't remember Hatton actually looking tired or that his legs were gone. Even in the Collazo fight Hatton's conditiong was very good IMO and is what kept him on his feet. Remember after Collazo definitely hurt Hatton with some shots, Hatton held, recovered, then came back strong in the later half of that round.

I think Hatton for his fights comes in excellent shape which allows him his high work rate. I think Hatton's achilles will be that PBF is equally in shape and is just faster and slicker with better defensive technique.

That's not the case though, I wouldn't say. The case is, Mayweather cannot box at the kind of pace Hatton can/could set, and Hatton can/could set a pace like no other (being effective at the same time).
