This is why people should love Ricky. He's a nice, witty and humble, down-to-earth young man. Didnt quite manage to put on the show that he was hoping for, but he got the win and did what was needed. He's a welcome break from all the ridiculous WWF style egos we seem to be getting in boxing these days and seems genuinely happy to be getting the opportunity to fight in the biggest boxing stage in the world. The Americans really should respect him for being so glad to be there.

i think alot of americans do,there is a minority that hate him,most the intelligent,decent,down to earth posters on here who actually have a clue about boxing dont diss hatton and like him as a person and fighter.
