I'm getting to be a big Miranda fan. Ever since his big step-up fight vs. Eastman on FNF last year, I've been very impressed.

He stops Eastman, which of course we know neither Hopkins nor Abraham could do, then gets his shot at Abraham (which I expected Abraham's people to try to avoid). Obviously he does very well vs. Abraham (didn't see the entire fight so I can't say he was robbed), and then gets a nice showcase on BAD to fill time before another big fight.

He's clearly willing to fight Green or Pavlik and of course Taylor and Abraham. It's all-too-rare that a guy moves from prospect to legit contender as fast as Miranda has, and it's all thanks to his promoters and his own heart.

Most prospects/young contenders want to feast on journeyman or gatekeepers (or both) and then jump straight to the title fights. It seemed as if maybe Miranda may do this at first--he beat Eastman to get the shot vs. Abraham, then of course he did well enough to earn at least a rematch. But instead of holding out for a rematch or a Taylor fight, he's willing to take a fight against someone like Pavlik or Green? Awesome. Great for boxing and its fans.

So put me down in the Pantera fan club, this kid is worth watching whenever he steps through the ropes.

      See Taylor, Jermain.

Providing he takes care of business on Saturday, this will be a very stern test for Pavlik.

Thats what I was thinking......We will find out no doubt if Pavlik has a good chin or not........either way I see Miranda wanting it more and winning one way or another but it could and should be a very interesting fight if it is actually made.

I heard a rumor he might fight both in the next few months. How cool would that be?

On BT it's says that Miranda-Green is on the works for the undercard of the Cotto-Urkal fight since Margarito won't fight... I'll buy my tickets as soon as they go on sale...

i really like pavlik, he's one of my favorite prospects. miranda is a big step up for pavlik, if he gets by zertuche, and that's the big if - pavlik is really stepping up... i think he has a chance against miranda, pavlik is a good combination puncher and he has a ****ing mean uppercut. i really want to see this kid win a title one day... and as for miranda, he's the uncrowned IBF champ
