How is Collazo not a tough fight? How is Tszyu not a tough fight? Granted, Maussa wasn't and this one tomorrow probably isn't, but Castillo is.

What about ya boy Floyd? Sharmba Mitchell? Arturo Gatti? Victoriano Sosa? Henry ****ing Bruseles? How are they for easy ****ing fights?

Please dont skirt over this question I wanna see what you have to say about it.

first you cant say castillo is a tough fight when hatton hasnt even fought him yet and yeah kt was a tough fight , so in 41 fights hatton has fought 1 man who had the genuine threat of beating him

and yeah floyd did fight poor fighters but the differnce is hes looked for fights with mosley, and we all know hes looked for a fight with hatton more than once , bruseles an mitchell were joke fights but dont turn round and say gatti was a joke fight when hatton was prepared to fight him over floyd, sosa was a good lightweight and a tough fight, the differnec is hatton went to 147 an ran back down floyd went to 135 fought an beat castillo (with a torn rotator cuff) but instead of running back to 130 were hes probably the best of aLL time he fought castillo again like a man, so people who question his heart there ya go i could name 8 or 9 fights were the threat of being beat for floyd was genuine, i can name 1 for hatton

What about Collazo!? And Tackie, Phillips, Magee - they were all tough fights. But I would agree absolutely that Hatton's not had the toughest of fights pre Tszyu - but what do expect the guy was promoted by Frank ****ing Warren lol. But since the Tszyu fight he's fought one no hoper and one world champ who WAS a legitimate threat. Tomorrow isnt a great match but Castillo is - what am I basing that on? Castillo's fights with Floyd and Coralles as well as agianst Lazcano, Casamayor etc.

I'm not trying to denegrate Floyd, he's the best boxer in the sport today and I actually started a thread not long ago saying how good he was and that he gets too much stick. All I'm saying is that Hatton gets FAR too much stick and that he deserves more respect.

How can you say Hatton is looking for easy fights. He wants PBF, is PBF an easy match. He wants Castillo, is that easy? He wants to be a british all time great and he wont achieve that by not fighting the best.
Boxing Witter wont make him an all time great and that is why he wants PBF.

ben tackie an vince phillips were not threats they were learning experiences tackie an phillips were never ever ever going to beat hatton, magee is a good fighter but there was nothin on his record to suggest he could beat hatton, collazo has become overrated since the hatton fight watch the mosley fight an see how much of a threat he is

I agree - i said they were tough fights but you are right, they were not legitimate threats. Fancy a small bet on the Collazo fight with Mosley? Say 2000? Ive got Collazo, obviously...

Hatton proven himself he is a good fighter but he is overrated by british guys because they want there own superstar.

IMO Hatton had some good fight but now he is overlooking Urango. If you seen couple of Urango pic you would think twice about him espiaclly they style of fighting they are going to fight is going to be a great disadvantage to Hatton.

sayinf Hatton is going to beat Floyd you are overrating him because everybody these days hypen themself by talking about Floyd and Oscar.

Frank Warren is one of the worst promoter he havent made some big fight if Hatton wants to develop and some mega star fight he should sign with GBP, Dan Goosen or even Don King. Yes you heard me Don King they guy get his fighters some tough fight and i dont know how many favors he does to get his fight some stuff like Roman Kamazin, Corey Spinks, Mayorga,...etc.

Yes he is a bull****er but as a promoter he does his job very well
