Gel shock wraps for broken fingers?

    Hi there

New to the forum, but looking for some advice.

Has anyone tried out the Gel Shock Wraps, or Gel Shock Quickwraps? From some reviews it looks like they will not fit under boxing gloves. Does anyone know if they'll fit under bag mittens?

I broke my finger sparring some years ago and so have a sunken knuckle. I have to take it easy for fear of breaking it again. Are gel wraps the best protection?

    Many thanks

    Tony

Are you talking about the everlast ones? or the ringside ones?

I have both, the everlast ones suck, they are hard to fit into smaller gloves
    (10 to 12oz)

NNNOOOO, DO NOT get them man. I got those everlast gel glove wrap things and they are ****. They have FIVE velcro straps, they dont really support the wrist or anything but the knuckles, they dont fit under most gloves easily, the velcro strap that closes them is too big and sticks out about 4 inches, AND they fall apart real easy. I only used them six times and the seems split and now I can just pull the gel part out.

How about the ringside ones? Are there any alternatives for protecting old breaks?
