It better be a good fight for some reason I'm getting the feeling that Oscar won't be able to get to him and will be pot-shotted all night. But, I hope that it is very competitve. If Oscar wins does this make us forget about Hopkins, Trinidad, and Mosley??

Hopkins - DLH is a 6 division champ... going up to 160 was already an accomplishment and Hopkins was just too much to handle at 160

For Oscar to win the fight, it will be a slow boring fight, cuz Floyd is so defensive. If Oscar presses him, he will not hit anything and get countered all night, which I'm sure is the current Mayweather plan. Mayweather doesn't get hit by offensive fighters. His eyes and reflexes are too good, unless you can match his speed, ala Zab Judah (for 4 rounds). Oscar will have to time him, punch when Floyd punches, and try to shoot a straight right when Floyd jabs him to the body. Floyd brushes off the punches with his shoulder, but when he leads with the jab to the body (which he often does) he cannot brush off a quickly timed cross. If Oscar can land this shot often in combination with his hook when Floyd attempts an uppercut on the inside, he wins the fight. It's all timing on Oscars part. For him to win, he'll have to be patient and make it boring. I know I've stated otherwise earlier, but I've been studying Floyds fights recently and this is now my vision. Or he can just let Floyd hit him as hard as he can in that big ass horse head he's got and hope Floyd hurts his hands, then just try to smash him.

here's how i see it. this is how the fight is going take place. floyd will knock oscar down early, guarantee all of you that. in fact, ban me from this forum if i'm wrong, i don't care. oscar will knock recover fully from the knockdown. you guys compare oscar to baldomir, and then the ones who don't agree with your comparisons comment that you're ****** like the jackass above. but, what even he fails to realize is that floyd buckled baldomir and zab judah when he countered over zab's jab in i believe the 2nd round and in the 6th or 7th rd buckled baldi when they began to slug it out. the thing with oscar, yes, he shouldn't be compared to baldomir, but you guys need to remember something, floyd is the smartest boxer in the sport today, bar none. he is much smarter than oscar. all you smart guys guarantee a knockout for oscar because of his sheer size advantage over floyd, which means not a damn thing to floyd because i'm sure he'll have a strategy for that, and add to that, floyd wanted this fight for so long, so i'm sure floyd knows oscar's style well, although this means nothing coming into the fight because no one knows how they will fight on may 5th, but i'll explain this to you guys again, floyd is going to punish de la hoya, just wait and see. the trash talking and typing stops when the fight is on, and floyd is going to embarrass oscar's ego but oscar will still have his pride in the end, but that won't matter. floyd jr, whether floyd sr or mosley sr or roach, steward, mcgirt(i think he knows not to train oscar against floyd), or whoever train oscar, floyd will be more than prepared for the fight and will make de la hoya who is a great fighter look like he never should have come out of retirement and face him. oscar is no carlos, but floyd is no mayorga either. actually floyd would beat the **** out of mayorga as well he will oscar. and note, i put will, not if. just watch and see. the end is near for oscar. watch.

floyd is better than oscar IMO but size and experience will prevail i reckon
