The popular HBO Broadcaster Jim Lampley's life is in legal turmoil these days, but the Cable Giant he works for is standing behind him. Lampley was arrested earlier this month. Allegations of abuse have been laid on Lampley by his now ex-fiance, Miss California USA 2003, Candice Sanders.
According to a report out by ESPN, despite Lampley's arrest, he will be at his regular post on HBO's Saturday night "World Championship Boxing," when Ricky Hatton tries to regain his IBF title when he face Juan Urango. HBO had considered taking Lampley off the show until things settled down, but the Cable Giant ruled in doing the right thing and keep Lampley, who is innocent until proven guilty, on board working.
Speaking to ESPN, Kevin Flaherty a spokesperson for HBO confirmed: "Jim is working the show (Urango vs Hatton)." He added: "It's a legal matter and we can't comment on it, but Jim Lampley is working the show with the regular team."

*personally i'm happy to hear this news, it just wouldn't be the same without Lampley's voice covering the action
