Do you honestly think Callazo can beat Shane ?

Has everyone forgot what Mosley looked like in his bouts preceeding the Vargas fights? Even in the first Vargas fight he didn't look all that great, and let's remember who he was fighting.
Also, those Vargas bouts were at 154, and Mosley isn't getting any older. Coming back to 147 won't be overly difficult because I know Shane is always in tremendous shape, but it still may take a little toll on him.
Collazo is also fighting for his career here. He may or may not have been robbed vs. Hatton, but he knows he won't get another chance if he loses this fight, no matter how controversial. If Mosley loses, he can go back to 154, blame the weight fluctuation and still get big fights against any of the DK light middleweight stable.Comment

^^ you got a good point ... but he still swole cruz face up with the few shots he hit him with... and Cruz was so ****in slow it threw mosley off ...
not to mention he also has a wack ass trainer... who told him just to go out there and win...
the fight with estrada... again ... he had a wack ass trainer... mosley is too much for anyone at welterweight ... he hit estrada with a body shot and damn near killed him ... after that round he never hit him with a body shot again ...why ? because his trainer...
regardless mosley did won by a large UD against both opponentsComment

How exactly does someone being slow throw you off your game? Are you joking? Mosley should have been able to land first every time and counter at will against Cruz. He looked like ****. He threw no combinations and was very hesitant to do much of anything really...
Why are you blaming his trainer? The reason Mosley has really ****** since his physical decline is that he has absolutely no ring IQ. He can't think very well in the ring, he doesn't adjust to things, etc. Mosley should have destroyed Estrada. Cintron beat him more impressively.the fight with estrada... again ... he had a wack ass trainer... mosley is too much for anyone at welterweight ... he hit estrada with a body shot and damn near killed him ... after that round he never hit him with a body shot again ...why ? because his trainer...
He wasn't impressive in either fight, though, and neither of those guys are even top 20 fighters at welterweight...regardless mosley did won by a large UD against both opponentsComment

^lol hey they were still both entertaining fights to me ... and ummmmm someone being slow can throw your game off... have you ever boxed before ? not talkin **** , just askin a reasonable question... even manny steward said ... he is so slow ... that it could throw him off, ... ... mosley's corner told him to go out there and fight cautiously ... so thats what he did ... he swole his face up on the few punches he hit him with... he couldnt counter tha man because his punches were so ****in slow and non-consistent...
mosley killed estrada... and the first real time he hit him , he crumbled ... that was mosley first fight back since his lost against winky , so i mean it wasnt all that bad, but he still outpointed estrada and hurt him very badly ...
and cintron? ? ? ? lol didnt he get ****in destroyed by margarito the same night mosley fought estrada ??? lol not only did he get destroyed , he was crying afterwards ... I dont care who cintron beats , he will always be a cry baby in my eyes ...Comment

i think it will be a good fight... i still favor Shane, but i think Collazo will make a fight out of it
i find people (alot on this board) are underrating Luis Collazo. (btw, misspelling names in the title doesn't suggest otherwise)Comment

Actually think that this could be the toughest fight in the division for Mosley.
Think that against Cotto, Mosley has the toughness to survive Cotto's big body shots & the experience & accuracy to outland Cotto down the stretch.
Cotto also won't be able to bull Mosley around as he has done with so many opponents either.
Margarito would be tough due to his workrate & the fact that he doesn't discourage no matter what you hit him with, but think that Mosley's accuracy & better punching pull this one off.
Mosley hasn't faced anyone with Collazo's speed & movement in a long time, though, & Collazo can punch very accurately from angles & on the move.
Mosley's going to have use his strength, cut off the ring very well, & be very sharp with his boxing. He's also going to have to punch in combinations, something he has only been doing sparodically for a long time.
Are Mosley's reactions still up to the job?
Guess we'll find out.Comment
