Baldomir would get beaten by Margarito.

I have said many times that Margarito has been overrated the past couple of years but he is better than Baldomir.

Baldomir took advantage of a poorly prepared, mentally weak Zab Judah. Good for him. Im glad he made money and can retire happily, but hes not better than Margarito.

Margarito would have made Judah look just as bad. Beating Gatti means absolutely nothing as well.

Yeah honestly I think Margarito would beat Baldomir. I don't think Carlos could hurt Margarito, unless he is worse than I thought.

Did you see what Clottey did to Tony for 4 rounds?
Zab would do that for 12.
          Or less.

I like this post. Not because I agree with it, which I don't, but because it's different from the others.

Baldomir was/is hugely underrated, IMO. I hope we see more from him.

I still think Margarito would beat Baldomir. Floyd beat Baldomir. I say Floyd would beat Margarito

                1. Floyd 2. Margarito 3. Baldomir

I think the best at 147 will be Cotto unless Floyd comes back down and doesn't retire. I would give Margarito the best at 147 if he beat Cotto. I would be absolutely shocked if Cotto lost to Margarito.

i've said it before, i'll say it again: baldy has done more in his last three fights than margarito has done in his entire career. which of course means:

                  baldy > margarito.

                    Exactly.
Unless they fight or Tony beats some top opponents than we can never base this matchup on anything but opposition they have faced, which right now leans towards Baldy.

Baldomir has accomplished much more in his career than Margarito. Margarito is just hype.

Right now, a match between the two would be a pick'em fight. Baldomir and Margarito are about equal in speed. Margarito has more power, but he wouldn't be able to hurt Baldomir at all. Baldomir would just keep coming forward and trading with Margarito. I think as far as skill, they are equal, which is pretty damn sad considering Margarito is in his prime and Baldomir is like 36 years old...
