How funny will it be if Margarito crushes Cotto?

i consider hitting and holding fighting like a *****. floyd doesn't do that very often. people say he's "running" when he moves and controls the ring, but i call it ring generalship.

Everyone expects Cotto to win, or at least be a very difficult fight for Margarito, but how funny would it be if Margarito lands a big hook or right hand, right off the bat, and knocks Cotto out in less than a minute?

Or more realistically, just stops him early, within four rounds.

Hey I respect Cotto, he's a warrior who comes to close the show, but Margarito is one of my favorites and the stink of hate over this guy is becoming overwhelming.

Some guys spend more energy bringing down fighters they dislike than supporting the ones they're fans of.

Margarito is not only a step up for Cotto, it is a poor style match giving Margarito the style advantage. Cotto has a static defense, and given that Margarito likes to mix it up, Cotto can expect to get hit frequently. If it comes down to a slugging match, Cotto may have the power advantage but Margarito is a big welterweight and a bigger man can take a bigger punch. Cotto has been wobbled in the past so it would seem his chin is a bit soft. Personally I think Margarito has to be the favorite despite all the **** he has taken for his recent lackluster performance.

True, maybe. But i think Margaritos ability to keep punching and walk through his opponets power is where Margarito eventually catchs up to his opponets. They both like to **** to the body, they both can punch, they both have been stunned, but I think Margarito when stunned was able to recuperate faster. If Margarito gets Cotto hurt, he will be all over Cotto. Margarito has the size and power to really corner Cotto and take advantage of him being dazed if even for a second.

Yeah, I think Margarito has good power and a punchers always risky but I dont see Margarito as that 1 hit puncher that is really dangerous. To tell you the truth I dont see Cotto as that either.

I just think Cotto has more ways to win this fight. I think Cotto will do well inside (but more dangerous for him) and also do well boxing and picking his shots and unload in spurts. Margarito's lack of 1 punch KO power will enable Cotto to box if he feels that Margarito is too powerful and is hurting him on the inside. It wont be pretty but Cotto could box his way to a decision. Clottey is a more limited boxer but was still able to outbox Margarito at times in order to recover from his hand injuries.

I always and still think that boxers are more dangerous to Cotto than punchers and brawlers. Someone like Zab with huge 1 punch power and slick skills could would give Cotto all he can handle.
