How funny will it be if Margarito crushes Cotto?

This is not so far fetched to me. I would not be surprised. Their is alot of Margarito hate on this board.

I trip out on that, Sure he aint the best fighter alive but he allways comes to fight and trys to give a good show and it wasnt him the one talking about hes the most feared fighter out their it was his promoter and the media he just went with it, but i wonder why? some fools in here just hate on some fighters because of their nationality, I wonder if anybody can give a good reason why they hate this guy so much other then saying he sucks or because of the whole most feared fighter thing.

Some guys spend more energy bringing down fighters they dislike than supporting the ones they're fans of.

The reason for that is they've already made the Floyd threads and were tired of agreeing with each other about how great a fighter he is.

I don't find that funny at all.

If it happens it's a case of a man proving his point, and it's not impossible. Margarito is very much capable of beating Cotto. That's a very hard fight for both fighters and can go either way.

Personally I hope it's a hard fought and closely contested battle, where both guys come out of it respected by everyone watching. Of course I'd like to see Margarito come out ahead, but I'd also like to see a great fight, something boxing can use at this point.

margarito has a very good chance of winning because if he hits cotto flush he will go down , anyone who does underestimate margarita in this fight are ****** but i expect cotto to stop a tired dis heartened margarita in the championship rounds

but il defo be putting some money on margarita the odds will be good

I anticipate a hard faught war where either man could be the victor, i must say though i was impressed a lot by cotto's last fight. He handled himself well, he took some good shots but he kept on pressing very effectively hitting his opponent with everything.

It wouldnt surprise me if either man won, it would surprise me if someone did it easily though.

The only reason Margarito has a chance if because Cotto doesn't box. A good boxer tears Margarito apart as evidenced by the Clottey fight.

Everyone expects Cotto to win, or at least be a very difficult fight for Margarito, but how funny would it be if Margarito lands a big hook or right hand, right off the bat, and knocks Cotto out in less than a minute?

Or more realistically, just stops him early, within four rounds.

Hey I respect Cotto, he's a warrior who comes to close the show, but Margarito is one of my favorites and the stink of hate over this guy is becoming overwhelming.

I honestly dont dislike Margirito.
I dont think hes a great fighter, but like you said, he comes to fight and puts it on the line, which is commendable.
However, alot of the hate is because of his mentally handicapped promoter and a few posters on this board who deny logic and reason and civil arguments in their support for Tony.
