but the guy has been undisputed champ in 3 divisions, its kind of hard to be overhyped with that kind of accolade. i hate the new england patriots, but their 3 superbowls speak for themselves. but i mean, its your opinion so i understand.

I don't know how "overrating" works per say. All I'm basing it on....is something like "Fighter A beats fighters B,C,D,E,F, and G"

I think they're overrating fighter A just a tad bit. Because as it stands....Floyd is favored to unify the HW belts.

Yeah, Paul Williams is the second most overrated fighter in boxing. After that fight against Matthysse....everyone lost it. When he beat up a corpse in Mitchell....everyone started the whole Hearns talk.

I cast my vote on other for Williams. Like the others mentioned, he has tremendous potential, but a victory over Mitchell doesn't make him a worldbeater. That being said, I look forward to seeing him fight.

I thought about voting for Gatti, but I don't think Gatti has ever really been hyped as anything more than a great show. In that vein, he is not overrated. When you watch his fights you understand that he is going out on his shield, or is going to do his best to put his opponent on his.

Gatti also deserves a mention for being so overrated by many.

Gatti - I think everyone on that list, with the exception of Gatti is an elite fighter...
So I dont think Gatti belongs on the same list with them.

Margarito - I don't think he is hype at all. Only reason he is getting love is from Floyd haters. So I would get him out too.

The rest have sure earned their reputation.. so I don't know who to vote for
