Luan Krasniqi Wants Lamon Brewster Rematch

British jr. welterweight Ted Bami has pulled out of the EBU title fight against Gianluca Branco due to a shoulder injury. Bami vs Branco was scheduled for Milano on January 25. The show will still go ahead with EBU jr. middleweight titleholder Michele Piccirillo taking on Michael Jones. OPI 2000 is still working on the undercard but Arena Box Promotion have as already reported two guys on the show; heavyweight Steffen Kretschmann and jr welterweight Aydin Selcuk. [details]

I thought he was gong to be the one to beat Brewster, but it ended up being Lyakhovich. That's not to say Krasniqi wasn't skilled enough to do it, he just couldn't get over the finishing line while ahead in the fight. I've not been up- to-date on Brewster's career, but he had a potentially career threatening eye injury the last I heard. Krasniqi can beat Brewster in a rematch, and he's still one of the top heavies, I think he deserves one last chance.

This is a good match-up, I hope it happens...
The first fight was pretty entertaining and thankfully no PPV bull****...

The first one was pretty good. But there's gotta be better fights for Brewster out there, from a money standpoint and from a fan pleasing standpoint.

I like this fight for Brewster; a win gets him right back into the mix and helps him keep his top ten ranking.

yeah just like when he defended his title against kali meehan and declared klitschko undeserving of a rematch
