I sure would not. He trades and most likely gets hurt. He boxes and most likely wins a decision. Looks like an easy choice to me. Boxers should slug only when there's no other choice to survive a round IMO.

This sport isn't called "stand there and take turns hitting each other" its called boxing. If you don't like watching boxing, then you won't like watching PBF.
spectacular display of boxing is what pbf did to corrales, what he did to baldomir was pot shot running. If pbf's hands are truly as bad as he makes them out to be(which I wonder about cause its an easy excuse ) than in reyes gloves against dlh he will be in big trouble and once his hands start to break down fight over. Baldomir couldnt cut off the ring and moved like mud. I really hope im wrong but pbf will probably pull a run ronnie run and if dlh is smart he'd let him look like a fool instead of waste energy chasin him down. itruly find it hard to believe anyone found baldomir pbf enjoyable even harder to believe that a repeat of that is desirable.

But DLH doenst have anything that Mayweather hasnt seen before.

I think his best bet at IMPRESSING the public is to go toe-to-toe, and show De La Hoya EARLY that his money punch, the short left hook, isnt gonna be a factor in the fight
It would be a mistake for Floyd to go toe to toe with Oscar and he knows it. It is all just pre fight talk, he's not gonna do it. There is nothing Floyd can do to hurt Oscar and he risks getting put on his ass.

And there isn't a boxer in the world who is going to tell you he's going to stick and move his way to an easy UD. If you want to be the moral police go ahead, but you're missing some of the best boxing we've seen in a long time.
If you think this is gonna be an easy win for Mayweather and he is gonna coast to an easy decision you are sadly mistaken. That is just funny!!!

Oh now he is over hyped when he took on Baldy instaed of Marg all you Floyd fans were the ones hyping him saying how legit he was and he was legit competition. Everyone outside of Floyd fans knew he was nothing but an overhyped journeyman that had his fifteen minutes of fame and never had a legit shot at winning. Big surprise Floyd went after him because he knew Baldy wasn't a real threat. It's funny how now all of a sudden he' overhyped yet befrore the fight he was such a legit opponent.
