It was reported in The Arizona Republic, that Morrison has suffered a hand injury that will prevent him from fighting on January 19 in a four-round bout on the undercard of a Showtime televised card from Phoenix, Arizona. HIV does not always show up in every test . I hate to be a downer but he really shouldn't be fighting or getting hopes up untill they re test and re, re, test him . But I hope that this becomes true in the end and he makes the most out of this 2nd chance .

I would feel sorry for him because what a terrible thing it must be to live all those years in fear that you could die before your time and have to pay for all of the expensive treatments to keep the disease from progressing.
If I was Morrison, I would sue the **** out of whichever lab provided him with that first test because it stopped him from being involved with his profession. Aside from that, at 38, what is he going to do in boxing now?
He got hit too much when he was in his prime.

The one thing they did not say was whether or not Morrison is still on his HIV meds. It is a well-known fact that if one is on the meds that HIV cannot be detected. The only way to REALLY know is for MOrrison to get off the meds for a few months and see if the virus returns. If he is still on the meds then no one should be in the ring with him. As far as ring age: well his body is not all ****** up after 10 plus years at the top. Look at Holyfield, Toney, Ruiz, Rahman: those guys are the downward slide and ****** up as hell. Morrison might just need to get in shape to beat some of these bums like Ray Austin, Igbramivov, Larry Donald, etc etc.
