Now THIS....is what is called a "sensible post".

The only thing good to possibly come out of this is that he isn't HIV +.
He's what, 38? He took some serious beatings/KO's. Tommy stay away from boxing, be glad you don't have HIV. Maybe do another Rocky movie.
I for one have no interest in seeing him fight again.

Tommy is 38 now. So he has about 2-3 years left.

When Tommy was boxing in the 1990's he was one of the few good White HW's about, so he could be easily sold to the public. Now most of the good HW's are White (East European) so he will not stand out much etc

If this is true then good for Tommy. I hope if he is allowed to fight that he takes this comeback very seriously and gets in great shape. Then he will have nothing to be ashamed of if he fails in his comeback.

I disagree with that statement, what made him stand-out was his power. Morrisson had many flaws, but he had disgusting power. He was rarley in a bad fight. I don't know how much he has left, but generally power is the last thing to go. If he is close to what he was in the '90s, then he will have the same chance against the top heavyweights as he always had, a puncher's chance.

Before I get too excited, the whole HIV negative situation has me confused. I hope for his sake it was a false positive, but it is hard to imagine that this really could have happened. "If" he is healthy, I for one will for sure watch the comeback with interest, whether he fails or suceeds, you can be assured there will be fireworks either way.

Wow. Tommy Morrison needs to stay the hell away from the ring. He had a questionable chin and didn't fair all that well against top ten fighters as a whole in his prime while on steroids. Now Morrison will be off the juice and weak, not to mentioned slowed with age, and his chin won't be any better. Maskaev is a B level fighter at best, but it is laughable to think a 37 yeard old non-juicing Tommy Morrison who has been inactive for this long would be able to beat him.
