Vargas in new movie Alpha Dog

not sure if this has been posted already but i just got back from seeing the new movie with justin timberlake in it called Alpha Dog (the movie was the **** beleive it or not, i def reccommend it)...but i had no idea that fernando vargas was a character in it. he plays a somewhat small role but has some decent screen time. more than i expected.

How was Vargas as an actor/what type of character/how many lines?

    What made the movie good?

Vargas was actually good. he played a friend of timberlake and some of the other cast members. im not sure how many lines he had exactly but he was in the first 20 to 30 min of the film id say. he had a funny scene or 2 where he was throwing a rock into a window. the movie was great though, id say it was a mix between something like that movie "bully" if you have ever seen it, and maybe pulp fiction (tho its not quite on that level), but still its def worth the 7 bucks a movie ticket costs or whatever. timberlake was actually good in it too. but the actor who takes the cake and made it the coolest was Ben Foster. he played a really good nut job.

he wasnt very "gangsta" as a matter of fact. he didnt come off as trying to be hardcore in any way to me. its hard to describe his character but i think he played it well.

                    Shocking.

Well, everybody is a such a poser these days you can probably have a tattoo on your neck and still not be hardcore.

Back in the early and mid 90's you could get your ass beat for wearing a hat backwards... Times have changed..
