I was gonna vote on this, but there's too many imponderable factors involved.

Also, while people are mentioning individual opponents as being able to beat Hatton (I always thought Cotto would be the most dangerous to him - obviously people like Margarito should be complete no-nos as they're so naturally bigger) it should be noted the cumulative effect if he DID fight them all in succession. [waits for Diego****o's predictable "he'll never fight them all, he just wants to fight old men and bums, pwn" response].

The Paler could go through a series of opponents that he wouldn't necessarily be favoured to beat, but then get stopped at the end of the line by a total underdog after going through wars. Admittedly these "wars" have yet to happen.

ricky will never lose at 140, with the current fighters out there, hell be too much for corrales and castillo, urango may be more of a challenge, but i think in this fight ricky will prove hes the same badass that beat tszyu.
cotto vs ricky hatton at any weight would be an utterly brutal fight, ill take ricky at 140, cotto at 147(after pummelling the piss out of ricky for 10 rounds).
i'll go out on a limb and say hatton beats mayweather at 140 if floyd ever ventures back down.

Other than a weight drained version of Cotto I cant see how Hatton wins. Cotto's body work is more hurtfull IMO he hits far harder, his defence is better His heart is easily as good as Hattons, who knows mabey even better! He can box excellently from either the orthadox or southpaw stance, he is like Ricky a great pressure fighter but boxes far better off the back foot and finally IMO theres nothing wrong with Cotto's chin, He was weight drained the times he has been hurt and those times were by a perfect tempile shot by the same fighter who rocked PBF and by an undefeated bomber, His chin is fine! Allround he is the better fighter BTW Im a huge fan of both

Cotto's chin is actually insane IMO. He can be hurt, but then getting him out of there is something else. Look at the Torres fight... he's taking bomb after bomb FLUSH and he's still on his feet.

I know man its solid and that was him weight drained! I find it funny how 1minute everybody, commentators ect were saying his chin is rock solid and his defence excellent, his ONLY problem is he is too methodical, and the next he's packin glass, his defence is leaky and he's reckless! He duz seem more aggresive now tho, in turn making himself more open but the complete U Turn in every1's view of him is crazy!

Yeah but Ricky went down like a ton of bricks against Magee, nobody, myself included is questioning his chin are they? Cotto was weight drained, even if he wasnt the punches that hurt him would hurt any1, infact most wouldnt recover like Miguel did!

nobody is questioning rickys chin because every1 nos it was flash kd at worst.
i dont think the wieght draining is the full story behind cottos chin , alot of it might be psychological but hes got great heart

Both hav great heart. Magee isnt half the puncher Torres is tho, if he had hit Hatton like he did Cotto im sure he would hav hurt him too! Hatton is another fighter full of heart that i beleive would hav found away to win tho! The point is weight drained or not those shots were perfect and ANY1 would hav been hurt, our boy Ricky included
