How many hall of famers has this guy fought, someone told me awhile back that macho camacho has beat like 7-8 A level fighters, damn thats impressive. His son can brag that his dad beat two of the top 10 p4p fighters ever, thats kinda funny if u think about it cuz no other boxer in the history of the sport has ever done this.

his coutryman edwin rosario was on a verge of knocking out the elusive camacho, since then his fights turned into marathon run, macho brags about how he's going to beat the great julio cesar chavez, well he got tortured by chavez in their fight that night at the thomas and mack center in las vegas, i've read he did had some ruin ins with whitaker outside the ring.

I think they didnt get along whenever they cross paths outside the ring that sweet pea would shoved camacho and nearly got into fights, although there was a story?? that they did sparred against each other and whitaker would easily beat camacho to the punch.

but before the Rasino fight he had awesome combo and speed and stuff like that.

I love my boricua fighters, but Camacho was a punk. He gave our island's fighters a bad name with his antics in and out of the ring. True, he had great skill, but since Rosario nearly took his head off, he became a wuss, happy to hit and run and not risk anything. He also beat quite a few hall of famers, but he liked to fight them when they were WELL past their prime (Duran, Leaonard, Mancini) and when he faced fighters still in their prime (Tito, Oscar, Chavez) he lost. I still think he is a Hall of Famer, but not an all time great. Heck he isnt even top 5 from the island.

Now, I will say as a jr. lightweight and a lightweight he was a damn good fighter, well on his way to "great" before Edwin Rosario. However, everything after Rosario speaks for itself. His wins are over has-beens and his lost to every credible opponent he faced afterwards. Haugen beat him, Chavez ****d him, Trinidad kicked his ass, De La Hoya embarrassed him, etc, etc.

Hector Camacho has NEVER stepped up, NEVER raised his game, never proven he was anything other than a Con-artist pretending to be a fighter.

I challenge anyone to prove otherwise!.....post Rosario...prove it, if you can.

Knokcing leonard out is solely for the purposes of bragging rights, they were both old. Trinidad is MUCH BIGGER than camacho, hector was old and washed up when de la hoya fought him. Matter of a fact, all of dela hoya's big wins came after the guys were over the hill.
