"Mary Jo Sanders proved she is the pound for pound best female fighter in the world as she captured the IBA Middleweight World title with a 3rd round TKO over Gina Nichols. Sanders moves to 23-0 (7) and Nichols moves to 11-6-2 (8)."

23 wins is nothing. Regina Halmich has 50+ wins.

Sounds like Echols was unlucky in a hell of a fight.

PS. how was this one not televised?
Thought it was going to be a hell of a bout from hearing about it, as would pretty well anyone who knew boxing, and yet no stations pick it up????
Now we've got a contraversial fight of the year candidate that hardly anyone has seen!!!

Man, we got to get boxing back on network television.

the ***** that sanders fought looked manly as all hell, when she took off her robe she was all muscled up and the crowd kind of made a collective "whoa"

also, ronald hearns knocked out some total bum in the first round

I'm keeping an eye on Ronald Hearns. Not sure how far he can go. It's a shame he can't punch like his daddy.
