IMO, Oscar is a guy who has fought a lot of the best fighters out there, but lost to half of them. It says a lot that he fought the best, but not that he lost to them. He beat a LOT of good fighters, but lost to the ones that are considered great. I also feel that he lost to Quartey and Sturm, Whitaker was a close fight either way. Quartey was fairly close, but Sturm was a flat-out robbery. So overall, I rate DLH as a great fighter, but not one that is among the greatest of all time. though he is clearly one of the best in the past few decades. He beat the guys he should have (except Sturm and Quartey IMO) and lost to the guys he should have.

I also don't feel that he is underrated at this point in his career. IMO he has lost 3 of his last 4 and 6 of his last 13.

It goes both ways, he was robbed of a decision for Trinidad fight and the 2nd Mosley fight a lot of people felt he won.

floyd will punish de la hoya because whether people want to believe it or not, floyd is the future of the sport and his skills are rare in boxing. floyd is the next legend in the sport of boxing and we all know it. he will destroy de la hoya, trust me, i've explained this many times now, floyd is going to punish de la hoya. i put millions on it. oscar is going to get heavily embarrassed. this is oscar's toughest opponent and i truly believe he bit off more than he can chew.

So moving up in weight to fight a Top 5 Middleweight of alltime is easier then fighting Floyd?

I honestly don't see Floyd getting KO'd. It's just not going to happen. Oscar isn't quick enough, and Floyd is just far too good.

I'm sticking by my original prediction, when this fight was first announced, and that's an UD for Mayweather, 8 rounds to 4.

The only interesting factor in this fight, I think, is that Mayweather is being forced to use Reyes gloves. If Mayweather breaks his hands, and is in severe pain, I think he might lose a UD from lack of throwing. But either way, he's not getting KO'd.

I dont under estimate Oscar at all, but judging from his last fight, I seen alot of openings in Oscars defense, plus the loss of speed that i think Floyd will make his ass pay for.

                  Floyd, UD, 8-4

it's going to be an interesting fight, we all know mayweather does not have the punching power to hurt DLH especially @ 154lbs.....mayweather can box so can oscar the only difference would be oscar's left hook IMO mayweather is not gonna look so pretty

The left hook won't land clean if it even does. If Floyd gets hurt he will lay on the ropes and use his defense, until he recovers. Floyd will outbox Oscar come in for a moment and then leave, and use his footwork and speed advantage. Floyd by decision.
