Why has it taken so long for Freitas to fight again?

ahaha.cause he retired. i dont think alot of ppl knew that. he went to my gym for a month so my coach still talks to his trainer

he had a very poor timed retirement. All he did was basically erase any momentum he had after beating Raheem.

Well....put things in perspective.

He came off a long layoff to fight one of the most boring fights in the history of the lower weight divisions. I'd rather watch John Ruiz hit the heavy bag than watch Freitas and Raheem square off in that clinchfest again. Plus he's really not marketable after he quit against Corrales....I think that is the deal.
