i think the fight wil be mostly dlh fans but floyd wil have many fans there as well. when he fought gatti in his home state, he took the crowd out of the fight and many were cheering for floyd as well. this is far from a gatti fight, but mark my words, floyd mayweather is going to punish oscar and he will take oscar's fans out of the fight as they will have shocked looks on their faces after floyd embarrasses their hero.

Lmao. Floyd can win this fight. Yes.
Embarras oscar? This isn't carlos, even in his fight with b-hop were he got ko-ed and was fighting a bigger guy he had a good showing in the early rounds.
You have to remember floyd hasn't faught a guy oscars size and with a very good jab.
Oscar has faught guys similar to pbf. Defensive skill wise and ring generalship(sweet pea)
        Embarras?? Umm don't think so

I have a question, though. Is this the biggest fight of Oscar's career? hes had some huge fights. this is a career defining fight for floyd, but is it oscar's biggest?

hes fought trinidad when they were both undefeated. Mosley in LA, and moved up to fight Hopkins when he was #1 PFP. this is a huge fight, but in terms of an event, i think its another day the office for DLH.
co-sign this may be the biggest fight for floyd yet but not for oscar.

he is fighting possibly the greatest fighter of our generation, maybe even better.

Clearly one of the most talented in our generation.

This is the biggest event of both careers, and this is the toughest fight for both guys.

May not be of the most importance to DLH, but its definetly the best fighter he has fought IMO, because we are talking about a prime Mayweather here.

Oscar was moveing up in weight and faced the best at that division. Even if he was older he was still on top. If he was partying that's his fault your suppose to be a pro.
Floyd is moveing up in weight, he is fighting a guy who's power just settled on 154. Oh and pernell was a southpaw. And we can't forget the best way to get past floyds shoulder roll that is maid for streight rights is the left hook, and what's oscar best punch? The left hook. I'm not calling it but oscar has a chance. So I don't think oscar is going to get embarrased like the guy I replyed to above said he would

yes he is, but also remember, he has a lot of time to gegt to the weight and train effectively, and we all know how he prepares for a fight. sometimes he trains twice a day and he spars with junior middleweights so oscar won't be overwhelming to floyd. it's not about size with floyd, it's about your *********. oscar has to have his A+ game when he meets floyd. unfortunately, he can't stop time and he's past his prime, but with how floyd performs it wouldn't matter what weight they fought at, floyd's mindset when he performs is very profound and he's a thinking man's fighter. oscar's size will not matter because floyd's mindset will be the factor in the fight.

hey, it's your opinion but i say he will ebarrass oscar because floyd is a smarter fighter than oscar. that's taking nothing away from de la hoya because he is a smart fighter and has been for years, but usually when he fights guys who are technical wizards, he falters even if he wins, some key big name fighters who were known for their technical skills, he looks bad. but, i'm not basing his performance on may 5 on past fights because great fighters approach fights with different strategies. oscar does this and floyd does it best, even if it looks like he doesn't to people. they key to floyd punshing oscar is how he will react to oscar's style and he will figure de la hoya out. floyd will destroy oscar's body with hard bodyshots and de la hoya will be stunned early, trust me, i know this. he will make de la hoya gatti with hard shots to his body. floyd will embarrass oscar, i just know this.
