Casamayor in Talks For Freitas and Diaz

It appears that WBC lightweight champion Joel Casamayor (34-3-1, 21KOs) has unification on the brain. After winning his trilogy bout with Diego Corrales last October, he wants to go after the others champions in his division. [details]

He wants to go into the hall of fam, unifying ur division will do it. O'niel bell, kessler and jermain taylor are the only unified champs, its sad.

I would enjoy seeing Freitas tangle with Joel again. The first fight, in addition to being controversial and close, was actually pretty entertaining. As for Diaz, I really am not as high on him as everybody else in boxing. Diaz is essentially one hard puncher or skilled boxer away from boxing obscurity in my eyes. He is somebody who throws alot of punches, true. But that is pretty much were it ends. Not much power, stays in the pocket, easy to hit. Corrales and Castillo both would have KO'ed him when they were at lightweight. Casamayor would decision him. Freitas would knock him out. Hell, I think he loses a decision to Rahim and gets knocked out by Julio Diaz.

Anyway, Freitas/Casamayor II is a thumbs up in my book!

I always like Freitas and wanted to see a rematch with him and Joel.
I hope it happens. I put money on Casamayor but my heart wants Acelino to win.

Don't sleep on David Diaz. The guy got some power in combinations. He makes for good fights, and he's younger, possable stronger then Casamayor so when Casamayor fights Diaz, i have to go with the younger Diaz.

Out of the 3 diaz's, which one is the highly regarded fighter, its baby bull right.

Casa is a worn out warrior at this stage. Both Diaz and Freitas will give him a very rough time and will beat him.

I was the one who started out the poll on the Baby Bull vs Casa and it looks like the fight is on and it's gonna happen on March.
